Library and Information Center (LIC)

The AUA Library & Information Centre has a reading room, the maximum capacity of which is 80 users. It has 20 PC stations with Internet access and is open daily from morning to early evening. Students can study either in private or in groups, complying with the Library regulations.

The main Library area is also equipped both with PC stations, as well as with private study areas for users who prefer to study or do research there.

The Library of the AUA is a centre of collection, processing and dissemination of information and aims to serve and support the educational, scientific and research activities of the University. The constant development of new technologies and their application in the context of library services provide immense possibilities for further enhancement of our library’s services aiming mainly to meet the respective needs of our users.

Career Services Office

The aim of the Career Services Office is to:

  • Provide support to AUA students and graduates on Agriculture education & training and Agriculture career opportunities.
  • Network the AUA with companies/organizations of the agricultural sector, supporting graduates on their job search.
  • Promote the AUA Departments and Degrees in the labor market and provide high school students with information on agricultural studies offered by the AUA.
  • Carry out case studies regarding AUA graduates’ employability and the current situation in the labor market within the agricultural sector.
  • Undertake the publication and distribution of information booklets, and the organization of seminars and workshops on career issues.
  • Organize the “Career Days”, offering job opportunities for AUA graduates through interviews conducted by companies/organizations in the agricultural sector.
  • Organize individual or team counseling to students with learning difficulties/disabilities

Special Services for PwD and SEN Students

The Career Office facilitates the equal inclusion of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEN and PwD) in the student community through individual and group counseling services, supporting their academic progress in accordance with the principles and philosophy of special education, inclusion policies, and the academic requirements of the Institution.

Counseling Services

Through individual and small-group meetings with counselors, two-hour seminars/events, and relevant sections on its website, students (including those with special educational needs and disabilities – SEN and PwD) can benefit from general and specialized educational and career counseling services. These include guidance on transitioning from high school to university, exam anxiety management, résumé writing, and job search techniques.

European Programs Office

The University has designated the European Programs Office as responsible for implementing the Erasmus+ Student & Staff Mobility Program. This program supports incoming and outgoing students, as well as incoming and outgoing teaching and administrative staff.

Athletics & Sports

In the framework of the AUA encouragement for actions and activities, within the overall scope of the sport sector, there are sport facilities and athletics equipment, all over the AUA campus, addressed for both students and academic staff as a whole, who wish to keep alive the sporting spirit and preserve the sporting ideal, expressed by AUA, through the years.

In addition, AUA participates in the World University Games of multi-sport international events, named Universiades and Panhellenic Student Championships, forging ahead to astounding achievements, reaching as high as excellence, in track and field events, including their football, basketball and volleyball teams, swimming and chess clubs, table tennis teams, too.

Cultural Clubs

AUA students as well as administration personnel are offered the opportunity to participate to the following cultural clubs:

  • Music club
  • Theater club
  • Dance club

The clubs have regular meetings coordinated by trainers and their work is often presented to the audience in AUA events.
