Professor in the department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development. He presently teaches Intermediate Microeconomics and Econometrics at the undergraduate level and Applied Statistics and Econometrics at the graduate level. His research interests are in the area of applied food demand analysis with special focus on the use of micro data in demand analysis and on nutrient consumption. Panagiotis Lazaridis is a graduate of the department of Economics of the University of Athens. He received his M.A. and PhD from the department of economics of Concordia University in Canada and prior to joining Agricultural University of Athens he has worked as researcher in the research and planning division of the Agricultural Βank of Greece and in Concordia University as a lecturer.
