In addition to the courses taught, each student is required to prepare a Postgraduate Dissertation, the topic of which is selected in collaboration with the Supervisor and approved by the Special Intertepartemental Committee. Monitoring and examination of the Postgraduate Dissertation is done by a three-member Selection Board. The selection of the members of the Selection Board is approved by the Special Intertepartemental Committee on the basis of the affinity of their subject matter with the scope of the research.

The selection of the subject of the Postgraduate Dissertation is made during the second course period for full-time students and during the fourth course period for the students of the part-time program, while its preparation begins at the end of the May examinations and expires at the end of September of the same year. However, each postgraduate student is free to unofficially start the process earlier by working with the instructor whose knowledge and interests are closer to the subject.

The process of preparing the dissertation is completed with its public presentation before the members of the selection board and any person who wishes to attend.

Preparation of the Postgraduate Dissertation constitutes an important opportunity for the student to apply the knowledge he / she gained during the year and to present a complete thesis.  This is why the Postgraduate Programme encourages students to choose current and interesting topics relevant to specific businesses. It particularly encourages working students to choose topics related to the business or organisation that employs them.
