Entry Requirements and Admission Procedure

The Postgraduate Programme admits graduates of tertiary education of Greece, or recognized equivalent foreign  Universities. Applications may also be submitted by those who are about to complete their undergraduate studies before the beginning of the programme courses. In this case, they must provide a certificate in good time that they have successfully completed all the requirements for their undergraduate degree.

The entry process begins with an official announcement inviting interested applicants to submit applications.

For the final selection of candidates, the following criteria are also considered:

 

  • Average grade of the undergraduate degree and postgraduate degree (if any)
  • Knowledge of the English language. For foreign candidates, adequate knowledge of the Greek language. The proficiency of the English language is based on the scores of specific official examinations (TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC etc. and diplomas (Advanced, Proficiency, etc.). The list of admissible examinations and diplomas is announced each year in the official announcement according to a decision by the Special Intertepartemental Committee.
  • Candidate’s previous research activity, if any.
  • Relevant professional experience.
  • Two letters of recommendation.
  • Other qualifications, proven by relevant certificates (eg GMAT rating or other relevant tests)
  • Interview.
